CCC Alert : Letters for hearing record needed!

 Many thanks to everyone who jumped on the recent on-line comment opportunities, really great to  see so many responses from Tenakee!

Yesterday there was a Senate hearing on a smorgasbord of public lands bills, including Senator Murkowski‘s S 1481  ” Alaska Native Claims Settlement Improvement Act.”  It sounds like it could be really important to get a good number of thoughtful letters from Tenakee included in the hearing record

The hearing record on S.1481 will remain open for two weeks to receive additional statements for the record.

According to the committee clerk: “Please ask them to submit statements for the record to fortherecord@energy.senate. gov.  They should “include name/title/organization, the Committee’s name, the date of the hearing and the title of the hearing at the top of the first page.  In the subject line, please put Statement/Letter for the Record and the date of the hearing.  Please include a full name, address and telephone number on the submission; otherwise it will not be included in the official hearing record. Word or pdf is fine.”
